BRIGHT pink hydrangea, roses, little yellow mum sprinkle, orchids, and orange ranunculus
The bride and I had something in common - we both LOVE ranunculus.... soooo thankful they were available this summer when they typically are not. A very nice surprise. The bride was beautiful... she had a vintage style wedding.
Piper Maypop is a teeny, tiny, barn shop located at 244C Main Street in Farmington, Ct. Though the shop is small, it is filled with many whimsical finds... beautiful flowers (wedding flowers, banquet, stop by bouquets or arrangements, corsages and small ornamental plants), unique necklaces, bracelets, earrings, oil paintings, textile art, handmade aprons, amy butler fabric bags, wood turned pens, pottery, and other little treasures. Local artists as well as crafters from Brazil, Africa, and China have helped to make the shop as colorful as it is. 860.751.8887
These small little treasures are full of bright colors from many different fabrics that are cut and hand sewn together to make a story. Each textile quilt picture represents an event in the life of the artist or a story that she has created in her head. These pieces are very unique and make such a lovely gift. The artist also takes special orders using a collection of fabric that the customer brings to her. The artist has made special quilt pictures for brides using fabric from the bride and grooms life, creating a story unique to them. She has also made memorial quilt pictures using fabric from a loved one who has passed away to make a lovely heirloom that can be passed from generation to generation to remember that special person.
